The warning on first install — and why it appears
The builds are not digitally signed at this stage. Signing requires a paid certificate from Apple and from a certificate authority for Windows, and we would rather say so up front than ask you to switch protections off.
macOS · “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified”
Right-click the app and choose “Open”, then “Open” again in the dialog. A normal double-click never shows that button. Once per version.

Windows · “Windows protected your PC”
Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Without that first click there is no visible button, and this is where most people give up.
Linux
Neither package is signed, and neither needs to be. The .deb and the AppImage install and run as they are.
Do not disable Gatekeeper or SmartScreen wholesale. That removes the protection from everything you run on the computer, not just from this app.

The bot only replies while the app is open. That is the trade for messages never passing through a cloud — anyone who needs round-the-clock availability runs it on a computer that stays on.
After installing
Five minutes to the first automatic reply.
1Scan the QR code
Settings → Channels → Add a channel → WhatsApp, then Link a device from the phone.
2Add a rule
One keyword — “price” — and a reply. That is the rule that will answer most of your messages.
3Test from another phone
Send a message and watch the live log. The reply arrives within 2–8 seconds.
4Expand gradually
A flow, opening hours, then AI as a fallback — guided by what you see in the log.
